Chelsea Gibb is one of Australian musical theatre’s most iconic leading ladies. Fresh from WAAPA, Chelsea stepped into the title role of Roxie Hart in Chicago at just 21 years of age- a breakout debut that catapulted her into the national spotlight and marked the beginning of a career defined by star quality, vocal power and an extraordinary, commanding stage presence.

More than two decades on, Chelsea has evolved from the young leading lady who first captured audiences’ attention into one of Australia’s most seasoned and respected performers Australia has produced. Her career has been shaped by the great women of musical theatre, from Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes, Anna in The King and I to Sally Bowles in Cabaret.

Her stage credits has earned Helpmann and Green Room Award nominations, while her screen career has seen her become a familiar face to Australian audiences through regular roles in Neighbours, All Saints, co-hosting Sale of the Century, and film work including Warner Bros.’ George of the Jungle 2.
