Kate Yaxley is a Melbourne-based performer establishing herself as a dynamic and versatile presence in Australian theatre. A graduate of the Queensland Conservatorium of Music with a Bachelor of Musical Theatre, she brings a compelling blend of vocal strength, physicality, and magnetic stage presence to her work.

Kate joined the 2025–2026 Australian production of Wicked (Crossroads Live), performing in the ensemble and understudying Madame Morrible. She has also appeared in Groundhog Day (GWB Entertainment), covering Rita and Nancy, and in The Sunshine Club (Queensland Theatre) as Patti Maguire.

Her theatre credits include the title role in The Gruffalo’s Child, as well as Animal Farm, Revolting Rhymes and Dirty Beasts, Fancy Long Legs, and A Very Naughty Christmas. Additional credits include Sweet Charity, The Mystery of the Valkyrie, touring productions with Shake & Stir Theatre Company, and the Melbourne Cabaret Festival.

On screen, Kate has appeared in ABC’s White Fever and worked as a digital presenter for the Australian Open.
