Sam is a Melbourne-based performer and graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts. A member of platinum-selling group The Ten Tenors since 2019, he has toured to every continent except Antarctica, and is currently appearing in Opera Australia's 70th Anniversary Production of My Fair Lady.

Early in his career, Sam was awarded the Playbill Future Prospect Award at The Rob Guest Endowment, and was later nominated for a Sydney Theatre Award for Best Performance in a Supporting Role in a Musical for his portrayal of Henri Baurel in the original Australian production of An American in Paris. He has continued to build an impressive name for himself within the industry ever since.

Most recently, Sam played the dual roles of Paul Owen/Detective Kimball in the sold-out Melbourne premiere of American Psycho, and appeared as Walter in the ABC series Dog Park.

In 2024, he completed the international tour of Miss Saigon, understudying and performing the role of Chris throughout Australia, Taiwan, Singapore and the Philippines.

Sam has also lent his voice and physical likeness through motion capture to Garret Ward in the world's first long-form VR musical, Castle Gillian.

Throughout 2018 and 2019, he toured Europe and the Caribbean in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, playing the role of Frank, understudying the roles of Tick and Bob, and serving as the cast's Vocal Captain.

His other credits include William Murdoch in Titanic (The Marrollo Project), Whizzer in Falsettos (StageArt), Del in The Beautiful Game (Manilla Street Productions), Marius in Les Misérables, and Billy Lawlor in 42nd Street (Free-Rain Theatre Company), alongside appearances in Jesus Christ Superstar (The Production Company), A Very Naughty Christmas (Woodward Productions), They're Playing Our Song (Company Eleven), The Enchanted Pig, and Together Apart (Gertrude Opera).
